About Silver Pockets Full
In between the raw and the polished extremes of the alternative poprock scene, Silver Pockets Full is getting under your skin by tying John Mayer and Tears for Fears together. With rich acoustic synthpop Silver Pockets Full’s energetic performance brings very personal lyrics up close. During a long tour through clubs, bars, festivals and living rooms the inspiration for the EP Stay Close was found. The band, indepentently producing the album, thereby sounds more compact and together than ever before. On the new album Stay Close five strong new songs tell the story of the sacrifice for love. Choices we all make, turning points in our lives,points of no return, or... maybe there will come a day...
In 2020 Silver Pockets Full adds more layers of
synth and pop to their sound. They're flirting
harder with rock and electronics. The band
hopes to present a new album by the end of 2020.
Until then, the new songs will be tested live.

Tussen het rauwe en het gepolijste van de
alt-poprock mengt Silver Pockets Full sterke
persoonlijke verhalen met gelaagde, intense
en catchy akoestische synthpop. De band
kruipt onder je huid met een mix van John
Mayer, Tears for Fears en Coldplay en broeit
daar verder door.
In 2016 werd het full album Where We're Coming
From uitgebracht, waarvan singles als Fool
for You en Life is Good veelvuldig gedraaid
worden op Radio 1, Radio Rijnmond en lokale
omroepen. 3voor12R'dam nomineerde het voor de
titel Album van het jaar 2016.
Tijdens een lange tour langs clubs, kroegen,
huiskamers en zomerfestivals kwam de vorm en
inspiratie voor de EP Stay Close. De band,
zelf verantwoordelijk voor opname en mix,
klinkt hierdoor hechter en intenser dan ooit
tevoren.
In 2020 krijgt de sound van Silver Pockets
Full meer lagen synth en pop. Er wordt harder
geflirt met rock en electronica. De band
hoopt eind 2020 een nieuw album te presenteren.
Tot die tijd worden de nieuwe songs live getest.
